Google User Data

When you connect your YouTube/Google account to EasySlice.AI, we access and process certain Google user data as authorized by you. This data is used solely to provide and improve the core functionality of EasySlice.AI, specifically to analyze your YouTube videos and automatically generate clips. We do not use Google user data for any purpose other than delivering the services you have requested.

Usage Data

We may also collect information about how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.

Use of Data

EasySlice.AI uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To notify you about changes to our Service
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service
  • To provide customer support
  • To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service
  • To monitor the usage of our Service
  • To detect, prevent and address technical issues
  • To automatically process YouTube videos and generate clips

Limited Use of Google User Data

EasySlice.AI's use, transfer, and processing of Google user data received from Google APIs is limited to the following purposes:

  • Processing your YouTube videos to identify highlights and generate clips
  • Providing analytics and statistics about your connected YouTube channel
  • Improving the accuracy and quality of our clip generation algorithms

We explicitly do NOT use Google user data for:

  • Serving targeted or retargeted advertisements
  • Selling to data brokers, information resellers, or third parties
  • Determining credit-worthiness or lending decisions
  • Creating or enhancing databases about individuals
  • Training artificial intelligence or machine learning models unrelated to EasySlice.AI functionality
  • Any purpose other than providing and improving the EasySlice.AI service

Transfer of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to United States and process it there.

EasySlice.AI may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Protect and defend the rights or property of EasySlice.AI

The security of your data is important to us. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your Personal Data and Google user data:

  • Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols
  • Secure Storage: Your data is stored in encrypted databases with restricted access controls
  • Access Controls: Only authorized personnel have access to your data, and only for the purpose of providing and maintaining the Service
  • Regular Security Audits: We conduct periodic security assessments to identify and address potential vulnerabilities

However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

YouTube API and Third-Party Services

Our Service uses YouTube API services to access your YouTube channel information and automatically process your uploaded videos. When you connect your YouTube channel to EasySlice.AI, we receive information about your videos, channel statistics, and other related data as permitted by YouTube's API Terms of Service.

We do not share your YouTube API credentials with third parties. All processing of your YouTube content occurs within our secure systems for the purpose of generating clips as per your instructions.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), provide the Service on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Data Retention and Deletion

We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Our data retention practices align with our service provider Outstand's data retention policies:

Retention Periods

  • Account Information: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after account deletion (for recovery purposes). After this period, your data is securely deleted or anonymized.
  • YouTube/Google Data: Your YouTube channel information, video metadata, and OAuth tokens are retained while your account is connected. When you disconnect your YouTube/Google account or revoke EasySlice.AI's access, we initiate deletion of all cached Google user data within 30 days.
  • Platform Connection Tokens: OAuth tokens for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) are deleted within 30 days after you disconnect your account or revoke access.
  • Video Processing Data: Temporary data generated during video processing (such as clip metadata) is processed in real-time and not permanently stored after delivery to your connected platforms.
  • Usage Logs and Analytics: Retained for up to 2 years for billing, analytics, and service improvement purposes.
  • Billing Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations.

Data Deletion Process

When the data retention period expires for a given type of data, we will delete or destroy it using secure deletion methods. You may also request deletion of your data at any time:

  • Account Deletion: You can delete your account from your dashboard settings, which initiates the deletion of all your personal data from our systems. Your data will be retained for 90 days for recovery purposes, then permanently deleted.
  • Channel Disconnection: When you disconnect a YouTube channel from EasySlice.AI, we immediately remove it from our active database and update our Mosaic AI trigger to stop monitoring that channel. All cached data is deleted within 30 days.
  • Platform Disconnection: When you disconnect a social media platform (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook), we delete the connection from both Outstand's API and our local database. OAuth tokens are deleted within 30 days.
  • Data Deletion Request: You may request for your data to be deleted by contacting us at privacy@easyslice.ai. We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days and process them in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Google/YouTube User Data

Specifically for Google user data obtained through YouTube API services:

  • What We Access: YouTube channel information (name, ID, profile details), video metadata (titles, descriptions, publishing status), and video analytics (views, engagement metrics).
  • How We Use It: Exclusively to monitor your connected channels for new videos, automatically generate clips using AI, and provide analytics about your channel performance.
  • Storage: Video content is processed in real-time and transmitted to your connected social media platforms - it is not permanently stored on our servers after delivery.
  • Deletion: When you disconnect your YouTube channel or revoke EasySlice.AI's access via your Google security settings, we delete stored OAuth tokens within 30 days and remove all channel monitoring from our systems.

Please note that we may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention, legal compliance, and billing records) even after account deletion, as outlined above.

Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under age 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
